Although Rental.lk is a relatively new venture, we’ve been operating effectively in the industry with realtor.lk since 2008. Powering and staffing website in the real estate industry ever since, making us one of the longest-established businesses in the entire sector.

Can I list my property to rent?
Yes you can list your property/ies with your direct contact details.

How do people get in touch with me if they are interested?
Tenants or Prospects will contact you directly on the details you provide and all enquiries will be sent to you via email. Our staff too would assist to in satiating your need.

What are the options if my property doesn’t rent?
Consider cutting back on the price and pull the property off the listings for a while.

How much does it cost to add my property for rent?
It is totally free for listing.

What if someone else rent my property?
You’re completely free to advertise elsewhere and if someone else finds a tenant for your property there is no charge and we will be happy for you.

How long will my property be on the website?
You have one month of listing for long term rental properties.

How do I renew after one month?
Log on to your account and submit your property with the previously publish status. Please see picture below.

How and when can I unpublish my property?
You can Unpublish your property at any time by login to your account. Once you done the deal you can Unpublish.

How can I publish my property and edit if required?

First you have to sign up and create an account. Then you can publish your property via my account panel. See the information to list your property.

• Click on add new property
• Fill in the details provide forms in six sections (Basic details, Advance features, Description, Personal information, Google map &Images)

NOTE: In each section in the property form you can see the tips. These tips will help you to publish your property smoothly & easily. Here are some useful information for your property form

Property title name: Use something that you think will be similar to how people will search in Google, such as “4 bed luxury house with nice garden” or “sea view apartment” – the location information will be automatically used with the title you write.

Google map: Make sure you use the map function to accurately pinpoint the position of your property. It’s important that users to find your property.

Images: These are so important! It’s the picture that creates the first and most lasting impression in the visitor’s mind of what the property looks like. Where possible, you should include not just the property itself, but also the local attractions such as beach, river, lake or town.

Description: Here you have to fill up the form to quickly grab attention. This information should be concise, punchy and brief or the most important things a potential seeker should know about this property.Write this in simple, positive language. We really like using a 4-section approach that tells a nice story of the property:
1. Local area: provide details of the tourist attractions and why someone not familiar with the region or area should consider staying there.
2. Amenities: outline the services and facilities on the development or nearby if the property is not on a complex.
3. The property: describe the grounds and exterior, then move into the property and explain how it’s laid out, finished and furnished.
4. Location: explain how to access your property & distance from the main institutions. Such as bus station, railway station, main roads, access road width & famous junction.

How can I create an account?
Register with our website via registration link. Once you create an account you can list your properties and manage your properties at any time.
